The Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is home to two properties.. The Beach Club (opened in 2016 and awarded the LEED certificate for environmentally conscious design) and the Harborside (which is formerly a Hilton property).

The Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is a Signature  property. Guests staying at either resort can share amenities (pool, restaurants and spa).

The resort is located in Mt. Pleasant on Patriots Point. Directly across from the harbor of historic Charleston, SC. Enjoy beautiful horizons and sunsets from your private balcony. 

 

Steps away guests can tour the Patriot’s Point Naval and Maritime Museum, home of the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier.  Here you will find helicopter tours, tours to Fort Sumter, water taxis to downtown Charleston, as well as harbor cruises.

This centrally located resort is a perfect getaway for couples and  families. There is access to a public golf course just off site. The Marina at the resort offers long term tenant docking (which allows access to the Harborside pool) or transient guests ( which will provide access to all amenities). 


The Beach Club has 92 guest rooms all have balconies, 86 have a view of the Charleston Harbor. Rooms are spacious and decorated in a nautical theme. They are bright with high ceilings and all the luxury amenities you would expect from a Signature resort. Each guestroom has a sitting chair or chaise lounge. Adirondack chairs grace private balconies. Greet each morning sipping a hot cup of coffee and close each evening gazing at the lights of Charleston skyline.

There are two pool areas at the Beach Club. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are spaced out for social distancing. Cabanas are available for an additional charge. (full day is $125 and half day from 2 pm $75).  There is also a private beach on the Harborside if guests prefer to sunbathe on sand. 


Food and beverage is available onsite. Please contact the hotel directly for most up to date opening hours. (Room service is on pause due to Covid-19 protocols).

  • The Reel - located at the Harborside offers quick bites and cocktails in the evening. (seasonal and depending on occupancy)

  • Beach Club Tiki bar - located on the pool deck offers drinks, sandwiches and salads for lunch (seasonal and depending on occupancy)

  • Charleston Harbor Fish House - Private dining offering breakfast and dinner. Enjoy a delicious meal overlooking spectacular views of the USS York naval ship and downtown Charleston. 

  • The Roof top, Bridge Bar - Open air bar offering appetizers and cocktails. Enjoy views of the entire Charleston skyline, Ravenel bridge and USS Yorktown.   (opened depending on weather)

The Marina Store offers an array of beautiful handcrafted items from jewelry to the latest beach fashion. 



Rejuvenate at the luxurious Estuary Spa, located at the Beach Club. Although couples massages have been temporarily suspended they are offering classic and specialty massages as well as body enhancements. Reservations are recommended. The spa uses the botanical product line Naturopathica.  

The Charleston Harbor and Marina Resort normally offers an arrange activities for children, However, the Kids Club has been put on temporary hold due to the Covid-19 protocols in addition to the following services. 

  • The  complimentary shuttle service to Charleston,

  • Daily housekeeping is not available, however, daily fresh towels and rubbish pick up will be provided.

  • In room dining

Even under the current situation staying at this beautiful resort makes you feel a world away. The staff has taken every precaution to make guests feel comfortable and safe. They are courteous, friendly and waiting for your return!
